Our journey started in 2019 when we embarked on a mission to bring the flavors of our Tacos de Birria to the streets of Portland. It has been a wild journey, being the first red and black Birrieria in PDX back in 2019 we introduced most of Portland to Birria Tacos and it's something we consider greatly each day when we make a new pot of Birria. Always making it as if it someones first time so we try to make it as best as we can so that the first bite will stay with them forever.

Our family has a deep-seated love for cooking and sharing a meal, especially if it is some scrumptious Birria. In our family Birria is an almost sacred Mexican dish. Used to celebrate wedding, quinceañeras, baptisms, birthday parties, anything and everything. Birria is supposed to be bursting with rich and delicious flavors to have a mental impact with cultural significance that will stay ingrained in memories and hearts. Passed down through three generations, our family recipe has become the heart and soul of our Birrieria. It is a testament to our unwavering commitment to preserving the authenticity of this beloved dish and sharing it with the people of Portland.

I’m so glad my bf and I went on a random choice of coming here. Service was nice, prices were great and most of all food was AMAZING. The consume was so flavorful. Tacos were juicy and perfectly seasoned. We both enjoyed our food so much … More and ended up ordering more tacos. Best Mexican food I have had in Portland so far. My only complaint is I want them to expand there food options because it’s so good! Would love to see more.

I have never had Birria tacos before, and I’m so glad I chose this as the place to get them. We got the platter where we were served Birria tacos 4 ways: soft taco, hard taco, cheese taco sandwich, and quesadilla. All four were amazing! … More I wish I shared with my partner because it was tons of food. We were eating it for breakfast the next morning too! Really delicious, I want to go back.

Hands down the best birria tacos I’ve ever had. I ordered the 13$ dollar plate that had two tacos one quesabirria and a mulita and consome. Their sauce is very spicy and delicious. The location isn’t all that great there’s a couple tables … More outside in the lot but honestly I’d eat on the floor for these tacos lmao. Definitely coming back to Portland just for these tacos not even kidding.

The birria here is uniquely seasoned. Just get the basic tacos. The menu doesn't have much more than that which, to me, is a good sign. Make the drive. Very much worth it. Your taste buds will thank you.
